Beginning School Year Activity idea

I once had a teacher who asked us to write a letter to ourselves... in 5 years. We were asked to outline our goals, dreams, occupation, etc. She would date them, put them in a shoebox and, you guessed it, mail them 5 years later.

Here's the 21st century version of that activity.... use l8r

This web service allows you to send an email message up to 5 years down the road.
Here's a snip from their site:

l8r lets you send email later.

  • prepare up to five year's worth of happy birthday emails
  • remind your friends one day before the Bloomingdale sale
  • remind yourself to buy flowers on your wedding anniversary
  • impress your boss by "sending" email at 11PM (and showing up at 8AM next day!)

I've not tried it, but it sounds fun!
